Kazakhstan to raise wholesale gas prices by 34% for businesses and cryptocurrency miners

ALMATY. May 23 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - The average wholesale price of commercial gas for large businesses and cryptocurrency miners in Kazakhstan will increase by 34% to 63,498 tenge excluding VAT starting July 1, according to an order signed by Energy Minister Yerlan Akkenzhenov on May 21, 2025.
