Kazakhstan's nuclear plant construction to feature multi-tier oversight, including Rosatom and French Assystem

ALMATY. June 16 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) – Quality control during the construction of Kazakhstan’s first nuclear power plant will involve multiple oversight layers, with Russia’s Rosatom handling design supervision while Kazakhstan Nuclear Power Plants (KNPP) and France’s Assystem serve as independent technical consultants, the country’s atomic energy agency said Monday.
