Russia, ASEAN agree to expand trade, investment, long-term partnerships in oil, gas, electricity

MOSCOW. June 18 (Interfax) - Russia and the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) have agreed to increase cooperation to ensure security and the diversification of energy supplies, including through expanding trade, investment and long-term commercial partnerships in oil, gas, liquefied natural gas (LNG) and electricity, in accordance with market principles and national legislation, according to a joint statement issued by the parties published on the Kremlin website.
