SovEcon lowers forecast for Russia's 2026 wheat harvest to 88.2 mln tonnes, total grain harvest to 132.6 mln tonnes

MOSCOW. Aug 24 (Interfax) - SovEcon has lowered its forecast for the wheat harvest in Russia in 2026 to 88.2 million tonnes from the previous 88.5 million tonnes against the backdrop of the publication of official data on sown areas, SovEcon said.
