Halyk Bank shareholders approve Islamic banking license

ASTANA. Sept 25 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) – Shareholders of Halyk Bank, Kazakhstan's largest bank by assets, approved obtaining a license for Islamic banking operations at an extraordinary meeting on September 25, according to a statement published by the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE).
